The story revolves around the mission and vision of "A Man on the Wheel" with an undying spirit and will, whose singular efforts have transformed the lives of many physically challenged humans of the city of Surat and the great nation of India.
Born on 17th May 1956, he inherited the atmosphere of a poverty-stricken family. Childhood poliomyelitis victimised him. Gradually he joined the Apang Manav Mandal and the Sahajnand Arts & Commerce College in Ahmedabad for higher studies.
In 1985 he started "Viklang Bandhu Press" – a printing press for physically handicapped brethren. Within 5 years, over 100 disabled people became self-reliant. In 1991, he established the Disable Welfare Trust of India. Today the NGO runs 16 free departments serving over 40,520 Divyangjan.
